A view across the top lakeThe Norfolk and Suffolk Flyfishers' Society was formed in 1974 to encourage flyfishing in Norfolk and Suffolk.

The fishery is situated in a beautiful Norfolk setting and welcomes experienced and inexperienced anglers and provides first class trout fishing. Newcomers are always welcome and assistance with the techniques of flyfishing is readily given.

Members can fish the water on a variety of season tickets and catch up to 4 fish per visit. Member's day and evening tickets are available from the Fishery Managers.

Social Events are organised on the 4th Monday of each month and are held at the White Horse Inn, The Street, Trowse (map). These events have included talks by well-known fly fishermen, such as Mick Bewick, Charles Jardine, Steve Parton and Bob Carnill, as well as fly tying demonstrations and video shows. Non-members are welcome to attend social meetings.

The Society has an extensive library of books and videos, which may be hired by Members.

We are members of the Norfolk Anglers Conservation Association, Anglers Conservation Association & The Salmon and Trout Association.

The 2008 Season opened on March 8th and closes on October 25th.
