The fishery is situated in a beautiful Norfolk setting and welcomes experienced and inexperienced anglers and provides first class trout fishing. Newcomers are always welcome and assistance with the techniques of flyfishing is readily given. Members can fish the water on a variety of season tickets and catch up to 4 fish per visit. Member's day and evening tickets are available from the Fishery Managers and there are a limited number of vacancies for season tickets. Social Events are organised on the 4th Monday of each month and are held at the White Horse Inn, The Street, Trowse (map). These events have included talks by well-known fly fishermen, such as Mick Bewick, Charles Jardine, Steve Parton and Bob Carnill, as well as fly tying demonstrations and video shows. Non-members are welcome to attend social meetings.
Following on from the Annual Pre-Season dinner we are holding a members-only raffle for the painting started by Simon Trinder on the night. For full details, and a picture of the completed painting, please click here. Our thanks go to Simon for donating this excellent item which will hopefully raise a useful sum for the Quiddenham Children's Hospice. The Society has an extensive library of DVDs, which may be hired by Members. We are members of the Norfolk Anglers Conservation Association, Angling Trust & The Salmon and Trout Association. The 2012 Season opens on March 3rd and closes on October 27th. |
